  • In this chapter, I'm going to discuss strategies for finding modules.
  • As you know, one of the things that makes Drupal so amazing
  • is that it is modular.
  • Drupal core itself is rather lean.
  • It doesn't assume that you want an e-commerce site or a photo gallery site.
  • Instead, the core features are pretty small
  • so that you can go and download contributed modules for your particular feature set.
  • There are many, many modules out there, and it's kind of intimidating
  • looking at that list, so I'm going to go over a couple things you can look at

In this video we take a look at where to find modules to add to your site, along with talking about things to look t when evaluating a module. In addition to looking at lists on Drupal.org, like http://drupal.org/project/usage, we also review a project's page to see what clues we can find, and we take a quick look at a project's issue queue.
