This release Wednesday sees us kicking off yet another new series! The Calendars with Drupal 7 series picks up after our Dates with Drupal 7 series and walks through everything you need to know about setting up, configuring and customizing the Calendar module.
We're starting off with the first three videos:
- Calendar Series Overview will show you the topics we'll be covering in this series.
- Create event data to work with gets a few things set up so that we have our base configuration ready, as well as creating an Event content type and generating a bunch of events to play with in our calendars.
- Getting Started with Calendar actually dives in to creating your first calendar.
In the rest of the series, we will be covering different ways to configure and display your calendar, in blocks and pages, as well as multi-day striping. We'll also look at creating an iCal feed for the calendar, as well as integrating it with taxonomy, and working with repeating events. Keep an eye every Wednesday as the new videos get released.
