DrupalDay Roma, a Hackathon, and Free Memberships

Image
Drupal events are happening all over the world, with people doing amazing things. Since events are so important to the success of our community, we like to support and highlight those making the magic happen. The Italian Drupal community is going to have a great mix of different Drupal activities at their DrupalDay Roma on March 3rd and 4th. We’re happy to be a sponsor for the event and to be giving away some free Drupalize.Me memberships as well.

On Friday, March 3rd, Eduardo Garcia (enzo) will give a keynote on “Saving the world one Open Source project at a time” followed by a full day of sessions on all your favorite Drupal topics. On Saturday, March 4th, there will be two free micro-events: the Drupal School (for beginners) and the Hackathon (for advanced users). At the Hackathon, attendees will be divided in small groups to work on resolving issues on Drupal.org. Each issue will be assigned a certain number of points. At the end of the Hackathon the team that has resolved issues worth the most total points will win. The winners will receive a free month of Drupalize.Me along with other goodies and the cheers of their colleagues.

If you’re in Italy, or want to talk Drupal in the beautiful city of Rome, you should put this one on your calendar.
