This month sees the best European front-end conferences for Drupalers going down in Athens, Greece. Frontend United started 7 years ago with a group of Drupal front-enders and themers who wanted to focus on their specialty. Today it has become a very popular place for front-end developers, themers, and site builders from many different backgrounds.
Speakers always include internationally-known professionals, and this year is no exception. There will be sessions by Jonathan Snook, Lea Verou, Jeremy Keith, Leonie Watson, Rachel Andrew, Dan Mall, and Natalya Shelburne, among others, covering a range of topics, including all you need to know about Drupal 8. In total there will be 25 sessions in 2 parallel tracks over the 2 days of the main conference, Friday and Saturday. Sunday will provide 2 workshops to choose from, Advanced CSS Layout with Flexbox and Grid and Data flow architecture with Redux and Angular, running beside a full day of sprints. In addition to sessions and sprints, there are always fun events. The evening before the conference starts, Thursday, May 25th, the Mozilla Roadshow about WebVR is free for everyone to attend.
We're super happy that we have partnered up with Frontend United this year to give away free monthly Drupalize.Me memberships. You can win a free membership by tweeting the hashtag #drupalizefeu before May 20th.
So go get your front-end skills leveled up, meet some new friends, and maybe walk away with a free Drupalize.Me membership!
