In a previous lesson in this series,
  • 0:12
we created a basic product review content type.
  • 0:16
But now, we want to hook that up with the Amazon module,
  • 0:19
so that we can get the information about the product
  • 0:23
from Amazon into our product review.
  • 0:26
So in this lesson, we're going to enable
  • 0:28
    and configure the Amazon module.
  • 0:30
And as part of that process, we're going to go actually get our Amazon
  • 0:34
key and make sure that it's set up and working properly.

Hands-On: Adding an Amazon Field

In a previous lesson in this series, we set up a content type for our product reviews. Now, we’re ready to add a field to store a link to the product on In this lesson we'll:

  • Enable and configure the Amazon module
  • Get our Amazon key
  • Add the Product Field

Note that Amazon changes the way they manage keys over time, so the way they are generated in the lesson may have changed. Please review the official AWS Product Advertising API documentation for current key generation instructions.
