Transliteration Module

The Transliteration module is a very useful module if you have people uploading files onto your site that PHP may need to work with in some manner. The most common use case in Drupal would be using the Image Cache module or Image Styles. These require PHP to manipulate an image file on the site. PHP can't always handle all Unicode characters, so changing Unicode into simple ASCII characters ensures that PHP won't get confused. This is a very simple module to enable and use, so we'll quickly walk you through how to use it and see it in action.
