Podcast Episode 22: Decoupling Drupal

In the latest episode of the Drupalize.Me podcast, #22 Decoupling Drupal, we chat about what it looks like to separate Drupal's content management from the display of the content, by bypassing the Drupal theme system entirely. Lullabot developers, Sally Young and Juampy Novillo Requena, share their experiences with using Drupal to build content and APIs, then using other technology, like AngularJS or iOS, to consume that, in place of a regular Drupal theme. You may have heard of this concept generally in web building as COPE (Create Once, Publish Everywhere). They talk about why this they have been playing with this method, and that while it certainly isn't for most use cases, it is very handy when the project calls for it.
