We're excited to introduce two new team members: Blake Hall and Will Hetherington. They're both joining our team as trainers and developers, which means they'll help us increase our video production and accelerate improvements to our website. Of course, they'll also be helping with general team tasks, like writing blog posts and conducting member support.
We're excited about their technical skills and teaching ability, and the fact that they're both really awesome people!
Blake Hall
Blake joins our team as a Sr. Developer and Trainer, but he's not new to Drupalize.Me. Blake has worked at Lullabot, our parent company, for 5 years now. As a developer and architect, Blake worked on projects for Saturday Night Live, NBC Universal, Hotwire, and Tizen. He has already created video tutorials for us about Drush, Git, and Entities, and we're happy to pull him over to Drupalize.Me full-time now. In addition to his deep Drupal knowledge, Blake is experienced with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, React, and Node.js. He's currently writing a book for Manning Publications about AngularJS Directives.
Will Hetherington
Will is joining our team as a Developer and Trainer with tons of streaming media experience. He's also no stranger to Drupalize.Me; we've contracted with Will in years past on our video delivery backend. His 7 years of streaming media experience, system administration skills, and Drupal knowledge will be invaluable moving forward. In addition to his technical chops, Will has been sharing his knowledge through presentations and videos for years. Plus he has a great Scottish accent, which make his video tutorials sound fantastic!
