Monthly Update

April was a busy month for our team! We published tons of new Drupal content and updated lots of site features. Here's a quick recap:

New Videos, Blog Posts, and Podcasts

We published 20 new video tutorials in April. This included 3 videos to round out our What's New in Drupal 8 series, and a full series, Introduction to Object-Oriented PHP, from our friends at KnpUniversity. We kicked off a new series titled Introduction to Domain Access in Drupal 7, and we published a great free tutorial about Translation in Drupal.

Of course, we were also busy blogging throughout the month. Blake taught us about Backbone.js and Underscore.js in Drupal 8. Addison showed us how to Configure Apache for Multiple Domains. Joe wrote about Learning to Debug: Stop Making Assumptions. Amber showed us How to Contribute to Translations in Drupal Projects, and Kyle taught us about Recording Podcasts: Creating the Skype-O-Saurus*.

*And Justin snuck in an awesome time-lapse video of his Skype-O-Saurus illustration!

That's not all. We also published 2 podcasts:

New Site Features

We launched a big new feature: Self-Serve Group Memberships. Organizations can now sign up without our help, and we think this feature was a big success.

On the backend, we made improvements to our quality assurance (QA) workflow. This is a win for our members because it facilitates faster, more reliable site updates in the future.

Finally, we made the decision to stop supporting our mobile applications—our iOS, Android, and Roku apps. The Drupalize.Me site is now 100% responsive and easily accessible on every mobile device. This made our mobile apps redundant, and we made the decision to halt their development so we can focus that time and energy on more content and features on the site.

That's it for now! We'll post another update soon. If you're headed to DrupalCon, please say hello! Here's where you can find us. Otherwise, leave some feedback below. Thanks!
