[Coding for Views for Drupal 7] [Chapter 13]
  • 0:04
    [with Joe Shindelar]
  • 0:05
Now that we've got a handle on creating handlers,
  • 0:07
we're going to take a look at creating a filter handler.
  • 0:09
In this chapter, we're going to create a new set of filter options for the numeric fields in Views.
  • 0:15
By default, the numeric field filter provides a list of options like
  • 0:21
this value is greater than, or this value is equal to.
  • 0:24
We're going to add a filter that will allow us to filter out all rows that are not an even number.
  • 0:30
This is not something that exists in Views by default,
  • 0:33
so we're going to have to create a new handler to provide that option

[Codificando para Views para Drupal 7] [Capítulo 13]

    [com Joe Shindelar]
  • 0:05

In this lesson Joe takes a look at writing a custom filter handler by building on the knowledge gained about writing handlers from the previous lessons. Filter handlers control how data in a table is treated when being used in the context of a views filter including things like how the data is represented, what the form for filtering looks like and more.
