Welcome to Our New Site

We redesigned the site and upgraded to Drupal 7! A lot of the site and features remain the same, but we do have some changes we'd like to point out.

Immediately, you'll notice that the site has a whole new look, and we've made some layout changes on the member dashboard and account page. We reorganized the blocks and moved all your membership information to the account page, which is undergoing its own separate redesign that will be rolled out shortly.

The old Browse page was renamed as the Library. We also organized and added new filters. For example, we added the option to filter by standalone videos or video collections, like series and/or guides.

On our video pages, we moved important information to the right sidebar, instead of hiding them in tabs. We also made it easier to find our suggestion box, and instead of comments on videos, we now have full-fledged reviews with five star ratings.

Here's a quick video overview of the new site:

And that's not all... Our post-launch backlog is full of new things we're still working on! Keep an eye out for the following updates:

Responsive Design We're in the process of making Drupalize.Me fully responsive! This wasn't a goal for our initial launch, but it's in the works.

Theming Improvements Rome wasn't built in day; neither was Drupalize.Me. We're still combing through the new site and making improvements. You'll see lots of additional updates land over the next few weeks.

Series Navigation We've removed some of the series navigation functionality (moving to the next video in a series) to make way for a new playlist player which will do the job much better. We don't have this done yet, but it will be coming soon.

Drupalize.Me Apps Our iOS, Android, and Roku apps have been updated, and the old apps don't work on the new site. We're simply waiting on final approval for the updated apps. We're hopeful we'll get everything approved by early next week. As soon as they're ready, you'll be able to access Drupalize.Me on your devices again!

Note: In May 2015, we made the decision to stop supporting our mobile applications—our iOS, Android, and Roku apps. The Drupalize.Me site is now 100% responsive and easily accessible on every mobile device. You can even use Drupalize.Me on your TV. This made our mobile apps redundant, and we made the decision to halt their development so we can focus that time and energy on more content and features on the site.

We really hope you enjoy the new and improved site! If you have comments or questions, please do let us know.

Comments

Looks and works great! Only comment is that the search field/button isn't now as obvious as it used to be. I didn't see it at first when looking for it...but maybe I'm a bit blind ;)
