    We are going to create a view

    that gives us a block of the most recent press releases,

    and we're also going to create a page that lists the most recent press releases.

    You should have already downloaded the Views module and enabled it.

    So when we go back to our site,

    we need to take a look at what that module gives us.

    So go ahead and click on Structure, and now we have Views available to us.

    Like I said before, we're going to be creating listings of content,

    You can create these listings as pages with a unique URL or as blocks.

Create Listing Pages with Views


In this chapter we'll quickly cover how to create lists of our Press Releases to display on the site. We'll be using the Views module to create a block that can sit in the sidebar, as well as a full listing page with its own menu item. You will need to already have the Views module downloaded and enabled on your site.
